Transportation
At S.K. Academy, the safety and well-being of our students extend beyond the school gates. We offer a highly secure, reliable, and comfortable transportation facility.
Our fleet of school buses covers an extensive network of routes across the city and its outskirts, ensuring that parents have complete peace of mind regarding their child’s daily commute to and from the academy.
Transport Fleet Features
GPS Tracking & CCTV
Every school bus is equipped with live GPS tracking systems and CCTV cameras, allowing the school administration to monitor routes, speed, and interior safety in real-time.
Trained Staff & Attendants
Our buses are operated by experienced, licensed drivers. Additionally, every bus is assigned a dedicated attendant (including female attendants for younger students) to assist children.
Extensive Route Coverage
We offer a carefully planned network of pick-up and drop-off points designed to minimize travel time while maximizing convenience for families across various localities.
Regular Maintenance
The entire fleet undergoes rigorous, scheduled mechanical inspections and hygiene checks. All vehicles strictly comply with state road safety guidelines for school transport.
Rules for School Transport
To ensure a smooth and hazard-free journey for all students, we request parents and students to strictly adhere to the following transportation guidelines:
- Punctuality: Students must arrive at their designated bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. Buses will not wait for latecomers.
- Fixed Routes: Students are permitted to travel only on their assigned bus route. Any temporary or permanent change in route requires prior written approval from the transport in-charge.
- Safe Boarding: Students must wait for the bus to come to a complete halt before attempting to board or alight.
- Onboard Discipline: Standing, moving around, or shouting while the bus is in motion is strictly forbidden. Disciplinary action will be taken against students violating safety norms.
- Parent Responsibility: Parents of pre-primary and primary students must be present at the stop for pick-up and drop-off. If a parent is unavailable, the child will be brought back to the school premises.
